Well, it has been a week since the 2024 Devon and Cornwall Back Yard event at Newnham Park, the runners have had time to rest their legs after their epic run last weekend, and we are so happy to announce that over £4000 (and counting) was raised for Bowel Cancer West this year.
This was another fantastic achievement for the Charity, for all the runners who bravely took on the Back Yard challenge, all the volunteers on the day, not to mention the re-routing that had to take place when a car got stuck on one of the bridges which happened to be part of the course!
The biggest thank you goes out to our amazing sponsors though – Shout out to Greens 3D Printing and D&C Directory for sponsoring the event this year along with ourselves.
They ran – and then they ran into the night.
Massive congratulations to Martin and his amazing crew for getting second place and 25 laps, a grand total of 104.16 miles, such an amazing achievement!
And finally – to the incredible MACHINE that is Oli – who won the event by completing an unbelievable 26 laps.
