Some of the staff and directors of Best Accountancy have decided to enter the Bath Half marathon after an invitation to represent our client and fantastic Charity, Bowel Cancer West.
Last year this charity helped to save one of our clients life with pioneering surgery carried out locally at Derriford Hospital.
This charity strives to constantly find ways to combat the Bowel cancer condition for people and develop surgical procedures which do truly save lives. They aim to fund ongoing training for medical staff and surgeons.
Now while both John and Angela have been running for a while now, we have roped two of the staff, Jamie Parr and Rhys Rollitt to have a go too. Both guys have played a bit of football and Rhys especially has youth on his side, but running 13 miles for the first time is not as easy as it sounds.
This then is a good chance to encourage some training and a common goal between us to raise our fitness levels and some money for our client. I expect we will be making a regular visit to Park Run over the coming months.

We do have a number of clients and friends who have also asked to join in our team and so we will have 14 in number heading to Bath for the race so we should have a great time and lots of support.
