After a busy and challenging 2 months for us at Best Accountancy, well needed was a team night out!
With a fantastic new partnership with Boringdon Park Golf Club, we were more than excited to take advantage of an hours professional coaching in the Driving Range, followed by a delicious Chinese Buffett and Quiz Night.
SOME of us had clearly had experience and were able to send their first round of golf balls miles into the distance, and the rest of us were lucky to hit anything at all. However, after just 30 minutes of coaching and tips by professional coach Ian, we were all able to send the golf balls flying down the driving range.
How. Very. Satisfying.
We headed up for the Quiz night at 6pm in two teams for drinks and dinner. Little did we know we had a few quiz brains between us, with one team landing in 6th place, with the other in 17th place out of 21 teams.
We think it was clear which team had been drinking a little more than the others?!

John’s Backyard Ultra 2023
Last weekend saw John head up to Dorset to compete in the Portland Pig Backyard Ultra. A race like no other… a 4 mile course sounds relatively easy right? Wrong! The aim of this race is to keep running for as long as you can. John managed a fantastic 12 hours, at an average pace of 4 miles an hour, he completed around 48 miles in aid of Bowel Cancer West and has raised £295 so far.
