So, I wrote a few weeks ago about taking a step back and evaluating what you may or may not have achieved over the past year.  Take the positives and use them going forward. As for the negatives, learn the lesson and move on, ensuring the same mistakes are not repeated.

I recently had the pleasure of watching the film about the Olympian Eddie the Eagle Edwards, who became famous in the late 1980’s with his ski jumping exploits.  Now I do not want to spoil the film for anyone intending to watch it (and I would highly recommend it), but it shows a boy/man’s sheer determination to achieve his goal, no matter how many set backs, obstacles put in his way or mistakes he made, he only ever focused on the end result.

It is hard to be that dedicated and convinced of success but I like to believe that anything is possible or achievable if you are willing to make the effort and not be afraid of trying.  Sometimes solutions to problems just don’t seem to be available, but often when you are on the brink of giving up, something or someone makes that vital difference and you are away again rapidly heading towards that goal.

No one person has all the answers, but you can build a strong team of trusted people around you.   Collectively they can search out the solutions and options you need to achieve your targets.

I certainly have some major personal and business ambitions this year that I am striving to achieve in 2017.  I am constantly looking for that important bit of detail or tip which help me get closer to the desired result.  Some times the smallest adjustment is just all it needs.dont-give-up

If you would like to share your business goals and ambitions for 2017 I would be delighted to listen and who knows maybe either myself or one of my team or even one of my contacts could be a helpful stepping stone to aiding your progress.  Whatever your aspirations are for the year ahead, I wish you every success.
