So the very long distance Charity Triathlon is now only 10 weeks away. Between then and now I have my full training programme mapped out and one or two events in between.
4th July 2021 is the small matter of the British Championships middle distance triathlon at Hever Castle. I can’t wait to experience this and a chance to wear the Team GB kit.
Before this however, on the 15th June 2021, I have joined another Bowel Cancer West event, which is to cycle 110 miles around Devon and Cornwall visiting the regions hospitals on a “Thank you” ride to raise funds and support for our amazing NHS during the Covid-19 pandemic.
My final event is on the 8th August 2021 and in preparation for this I have started doing lap after lap of beautiful Burrator reservoir. It is lovely but you have to watch out for those sheep and ponies and even the massive cows with the biggest horns I have ever seen.
A big thank you to Angela my staff for their support as I disappear regularly on Wednesday mornings for extra training and they hold the fort and look after our clients.
